1/21/2026 University of Illinois Fighting Illini Michael Hurley 1-20-26 I’m a week and two days late turning in my column. My editor, Dave, can’t really say anything to me because he doesn’t really pay me. Part of the reason I’m late is because I was on vacation in Florida for a week. It was fantastic–warm weather, golf, relaxing by the pool. I worked out each morning, and I even read a book! I was IN THE ZONE!  I’ve also been watching the Illini who have won 7 games in a row
