2/23/2026 I spent eight hours sitting on a shower floor cleaning a chocolate fountain today. It was one of the least enjoyable experiences of my life. 2/23/2026 A thrilling “Big Monday” victory 70-67 for Iowa State against Houston this past Monday at Hilton Coliseum. Hilton Magic. I guess a yellow-out is better than a white-out. Nate Heise hit a go ahead 3 pointer in the final seconds to seal a game that lived up to the hype on National TV. Definitely an impressive two game home stand against Kansas and Houston. The win moves the Cyclones to 23-3 and a tie for second in the conference. Now we are predicting a loss Saturday

2/1/2026 I am sure everyone has noticed that there have been no PC updates recently.  It has taken a while to recover from the Friars first loss to UConn, where they had a commanding double-digit lead, then blew it in dramatic fashion.  As I watched I wondered to myself, even when they were up fifteen, how will they blow this?  Turns out one player decided to set up a wide open layup under the hoop and then steal the ball from his teammate, by accident,  and knock it out of b
