3. The B1G Conference is also due—it’s been the same 25 years since a B1G Conference team has won it all (sorry, 2002 Maryland, but you don’t count).

2. Emotional backstory—Nothing tugs at the heart strings quite like seeing Magic Johnson make his obligatory Final Four appearance in the stands.
