The Huskies men’s basketball team began the week with a 75-91 loss to # 24 Michigan. Then on Wednesday we lost to #17 Purdue. Looking back over the month of January it seems we lose to teams that have numbers in front of their names.
The solution seems obvious. We need to get a number.
At this point I’m not sure the particular number matters, but whatever number we choose we need to do it fast.
We play #13 Oregon on Tuesday, then numberless UCLA on Friday. No time for a school wide vote, this needs executive action. UW Athletic Director Pat Chun has been on the job for 10 months now so he should have already gotten to this. Regardless the time has come and we need a number!
